Darrin Grimwood is a London and Borneo based screenwriter and novelist, working in the horror, sci-fi and fantasy genres. He started writing chillers in the tropics ten years ago when he was commissioned by The Film Consortium to write Soul Hunters, a human cloning sci-fi thriller.  Since then he’s made a living as a screenwriter with over twenty screenplays under his belt. His horror-comedy, Euston We Have a Problem! was sold to Hammer Films after being one of the winners in the London Screenwriters’ Festival ‘Pitch Factor’ competition in 2009.

Darrin’s horror-comedy Cornered! starring Steve Guttenberg and James Duval was released in June 2010. Since then he has diversified into fiction, publishing Destroy All Robots in 2012 and Dark Horse Comics sci-fi thriller The Deleted in late 2013.

Darrin is also a playwright and his psychological thriller Black Aspirins was produced for the London stage in 2004 and was nominated for the Verity Bargate award.
