Ged Parsons is an award-winning writer of TV and radio comedy, and began working in the late 1980s.

He currently writes for Have I Got News For You and Mock the Week, and his previous credits include Spitting Image, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Room 101, and many others.

He is the writer on BBC Radio Four’s My Teenage Diary, which won the Sony Academy Silver Award for Best Comedy, 2013. He has written for John Cleese, Joan Rivers, Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones, Rory Bremner, the Two Ronnies, Les Dawson, and David Frost, to name but nine.
