Heather Taylor is a writer, director and founder of Red on Black Productions. A Masters graduate from City University, Heather has gone on to write The Last Thakur, which premiered at the London Film Festival 2008 & it has had its cinematic, television and DVD releases in the UK. Her short documentary Wild West Dream was an official selection for Atlantic Film Festival and the Edmonton International Film Festival and she was commissioned to create a short film as part of the Museum of Broken Relationships in London 2011. Her sci-fi web series Raptured, released October 2011, has had nearly a half a million views through their distributor, Koldcast. 

In the summer of 2012, she released a pilot series of Home Backed Stories which highlights the stories behind dishes made by home cooks and has begun to release Raptured as a web comic as she prepares for Season 2 to launch in 2013. Heather is also working on her second feature film with Dublin based Ink and Light Films.
