In 1998, writer director Julian Gilbey started work on his first feature, ‘Reckoning Day’ which upon completion sold throughout Japan and has since obtained cult status.

His second feature ‘Rollin’ With The Nines’ earned him a nomination for the Carl Foreman Award for Special Achievement by a British Director at the prestigious BAFTA awards and also won Best UK Feature at the Raindance Film Festival.

Julian’s latest release ‘Rise Of The Footsoldier’ starring Craig Fairbrass and Kierston Waering has become one of the biggest selling DVD’s in the history of British independent film. 

Julian’s latest project ‘A Lonely Place To Die’ is set for release on 7 September 2011, and stars Melissa George (‘Amityville Horror’), Ed Speleers (‘Eragon’), Eamonn Walker (‘Lord Of War’) and Sean Harris (‘Harry Brown’).
