Michael wrote and produced The Beat Beneath My Feet starring Luke Perry (Beverly Hills 90210, The Fifth Element) which completed post production in spring 2014.

His previous film City Slacker starring Oscar and Golden Globe nominated Tom Conti and Fiona Gillies was nominated at the British Independent Film Awards as well as receiving a nomination for Best UK feature at the Raindance Film Festival and winning Best Feature at the Crystal Palace International Film Festival. In the USA it was an official selection at the prestigious Sonoma International Film Festival.

He scripted a three part television drama Isabella which was filmed in Sweden and starred Irina Bjorklund (The American). He won the Golden Chest International Television Festival award for Best Screenplay and the production received a VENLA award.

Michael wrote the feature film, Dummy starring BAFTA nominated Aaron Johnson (Kick Ass). It premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival and was short listed for Best Film at Raindance – London’s internationally acclaimed festival for independent films. It has also garnered screenings at the Cannes Film Market and the Adelaide film festival.

Michael wrote, directed and produced Talk, a short film starring Suggs – the  lead singer of Madness, which premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival and was promoted internationally by the British Council.

He has completed shooting on another short film, The New Room which he wrote and directed. He has another film Running in development.

Michael originally trained as an actor at LAMDA in London and continues to work in TV, theatre and film.
