Richard Stokes has most recently finished work on the critically acclaimed itv series Broadchurch which secured a regular consolidated audience of over nine million viewers.
His first producer roles were on the continuing dramas EastEnders and then Holby City where he helped expand the medical show into a fifty episode series. He produced the first two series of the Doctor Who spin-off, Torchwood for BBC3 which launched to record viewing figures for a digital channel.
Moving freelance he then produced the first six series of Law & Order:UK where he also turned his hand to writing. In 2011 he returned to the BBC to produce the second series of Peter Moffat’s legal drama, Silk which was nominated for a BAFTA for best drama series.
