Sophie MeyerHead of Development, Ealing Studios
Sophie Meyer is Head of Development at Ealing Studios. Having overseen the slate since joining the company in 2004, she is credited as co-producer on St. Trinian’s 2: The Legend Of Fritton’s Gold and as Associate Producer on Easy Virtue and St. Trinian’s.
Experienced at working with both established and emerging writing talent on a range of genres, the current slate includes What The Puck written by Geoff Deane and to be directed by Pete Cattaneo, Fisherman’s Friends by St. Trinian’s writers Piers Ashworth and Nick Moorcroft and Nightwork adapted by Will Davies.
With over thirteen years working in UK development, she was previously Head of Development for Mission Pictures where she worked across a slate of projects including Danny Boyle’s Millions and prior to that worked in development at Intermedia and British Screen.
