An frank talk about how talent gets spotted and what a writer can do to maximise this happening.  Sending your script into an unsolicited system often feels like you are throwing something out into a universe where you can’t anticipate or control its destiny.  What is this universe; who are these powers that be and what exactly are they looking for?

Abigail Gonda, Development Producer at BBC Writersroom, will endeavour to demystify the script reading process and give tangible advice about getting your foot in the door.  Speaking from experience, she will use concrete examples to illustrate how writers get on the path to being noticed and “making it”.
