with Paterson Joseph
In this session Paterson Joseph will highlight the power of our research for us as artists, writers in particular.
Patterson will draw on his own experiences and thoughts on the ghettoisation of ideas that a lack of research leads to. Touching on the ‘missing classics’ that were denied us from writers such as Tennessee Williams, Arthur Miller, Harold Pinter etc…due to the cul-de-sac approach in the entertainment industry that asks us to deal with only those subjects we have a ‘right’ to write about.
This promises to be a thought provoking and inspirational session that challenges the mind-sets and methods of many writers with a view to opening them up a whole new world of opportunities.
