Amber is an actor and director based in the South West. A graduate of Theatre: Writing, Directing and Performance, she has developed a dynamic visual style and a strong interest in adapting texts for stage and screen. She combines her love of dance, music and art within her productions, most recently directing a bold reimagining of Antigone for Elevate Festival.
With a background in ballet and dance, alongside recent modelling experience, Amber has a particular interest in physical theatre and movement-based performance. Her screen acting training includes workshops with Jack Price and masterclasses with RADA. As a performer, she is especially drawn to strong female roles.
Amber’s theatre credits include Antigone, Electra, Medea, Incognito, Holes, Dear Brutus, and Bull. Her short film work includes First Assistant Director on Last Rites, Second Assistant Director on From A–Q, and Director of Breathe.
During her time at the University of York, Amber presented Platform Scratch Nights, creating a space for emerging writers and performers to share new work. She also gained extensive stage management experience throughout her degree and at York Theatre Royal.
Alongside acting and directing, Amber works on broadcast and commercial projects.
