Angela Dixon is an award-winning actor best known for her “Oscar-worthy” and a “powerhouse” performance as the lead in Never Let Go, directed by Howard J. Ford. Her portrayal of a single mother fighting against impossible odds to rescue her kidnapped child earned her the Best Actress award at the Women in Action Awards, LA. The film itself went on to win Best Independent Film at the UK National Film Awards and continues to reach global audiences through international distribution.
Known for her fearless commitment, she performed all her own stunts and fight sequences, often working under demanding guerrilla-style filming conditions—an approach that speaks to both her physical dedication and her instinct for immersive storytelling. Dixon’s commanding screen presence and ability to access raw emotion has become a defining hallmark of her work. She received further Best Actress recognition for her role in Homeless Ashes, directed by Marc Zammit, where she portrayed a victim of domestic violence.
