Constantin Pilavios is a film and television director with over two decades of experience in storytelling across fiction, documentary, and branded content. He began his career as a child actor before stepping behind the camera at 18, directing shows for Greek National Television. Since then, he has directed numerous award-winning short films, documentaries, commercials for global brands, and most recently, the eight-part mini-series I Am Jo, currently streaming on Netflix Greece and holding a spot in the Top 10 for over two months.
Constantin is drawn to bold storytelling with emotional depth and a touch of the unexpected. He’s particularly interested in hybrid genres that blend drama, dark comedy, fantasy, romance, and grounded character-driven narratives. Whether it’s a surreal slice-of-life or an emotionally complex magical realist story, he’s looking for scripts that surprise, move, and stay with you.
He’s currently developing two feature films and seeking fresh voices to collaborate with on original, heartfelt, and imaginative projects.
