D. Scott-Jones is a Collaborative Scriptwriter creating visceral, female-centred stories across audio and screen. She primarily works in sci-fi, fantasy, and dystopian genres, using imaginative worlds to explore the very real challenges women face today.
Her storytelling journey began in fantasy fiction and evolved into a vibrant side career as a scriptwriter and script reader. In 2024, she earned her Master’s in Scriptwriting, and is now preparing for a PhD exploring how female screenwriting duos collaborate – and why their partnerships make stories stronger.
Recent highlights: delivered a Development Lab with OutWrd Plus, leading to scripts in production; stage play “Scan Your Soul” performed at DunsPlayFest 2025; returning with “Something Cursed and Something Blue” in 2026.
Talent Campus 9.0 alum. Listens to rock, reads romantasy and loves solving storytelling challenges. When not writing, consults on Scriptwriters’ Branding to help writers showcase their stories.
