DEOLA FOLARIN is a award winning writer/director. Her graduation short film was Hush Little Baby, a 43-minute thriller. Her first feature script, Stained Glass, was picked for both the prestigious Moonstone Writers and Directors’ Lab [2002]. Deola’s third award-winning short, Salt Scrubbers, funded by Film London, was shown in the London Film Festival (produced by Emmynominated Bill and Ben Productions). Her fourth short film, Blaze [2010], funded by the Film Council and produced by Cannes award winning producers.
Deola won the British, Newcastle Northern Lights Angel Award 2008 for her feature project, Concrete Cat. Deola’s 3rd feature film script (2014) is a tense psychological thriller, BrokenWaters. She is currently working on Javelin/ The Girl Who Chucked A Spear At Pluto, about Fatima Whitbread – World Javelin Champion.
Deola directed 26 episodes of Sesame Square, a franchise of the American Sesame[2011].
