Emma has served as lead writer and Executive or Associate producer on TV shows including Gifted (2025), The Beaker Girls (2022-23), My Mum Tracy Beaker (2021), The Demon Headmaster (2019); The Worst Witch (2015-2016) and Eve (2013-2015). She has written episodes of The Hardacres, Belonging and Doctors, and for many children’s television shows including The Dumping Ground, Hetty Feather, Spirit Warriors, Half Moon Investigations, Dead Gorgeous, Sadie J, The Story of Tracy Beaker and Young Dracula.
Stage work includes the Olivier Award winning adaptation of The Worst Witch and Hetty Feather (Olivier nominated and CAMEO Award winner). Audio includes plays for Radio 4 and Radio Wales, and episodes of Big Finish’s Doctor Who and Torchwood ranges. She has been nominated three times for BAFTA awards and is currently Chair of the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain.
