OK. So you got the deal. You are in. But they have notes! Congratulations, you are in development.
Most likely you have gone from, it’s a brilliant idea (in your head), through months, if not years of writing and rewriting (at your desk), to now, a group of people with all manner of opinions (in a coffee shop / office / over email). It’s inevitable, film and TV making is a group endeavour, but for us writers, it can be daunting to give up control.
So how do you not just survive this process, but use it to advance both your project and your career. How do you allow your baby grow, with a new family, and eventually leave home?
It may be tough, but it HAS to happen. Vicki and Georgina have decades of experience in script development between them. Join them as they share their experience, hard won tactics and strategies, all to help you strengthen your script and develop allies who will hire you again.
