Jessica Malik is Head of Development at Hangtime Films. She is a seasoned BIFA-nominated film and television executive with many years of experience developing and producing films and TV shows. Her recent film credits include DALI LAND, Alice Lowe’s TIMESTALKER, the BIFA nominated SHE WILL, TIFF runner up ZAYTOUN and ESTRANGED starring Amy Manson.
Her TV credits include the six-part TV show FUNNY WOMAN for SKY based on Nick Hornby’s novel FUNNY GIRL starring Gemma Arterton, Rupert Everett and David Threlfall, written by Morwenna Banks and directed by Oliver Parker. Jessica also produced the viral satirical short entitled LEADING LADY PARTS in support of the Times Up and #MeToo campaigns which went out on BBC starring Gemma Arterton, Catherine Tate, Gemma Chan, Felicity Jones, Anthony Welsh, Tom Hiddleston, Florence Pugh, Wunmi Mosaku and many others.
