Julian Friedmann is the co-owner of the Blake Friedmann Literary Agency and former publisher of ScriptWriter magazine, a premier UK and European publication for screenwriters. As a literary agent, he represents both book and script writers, and acts as an Executive Producer for and with clients.
Friedmann is the author of the “Make Money Screenwriting” book series and co-author of “The Insider’s Guide to Writing for Television.” He has edited two volumes on “Writing Long-Running Television Series.” He has taught at universities and film schools worldwide, designing the MA in Television Scriptwriting at De Montfort University and the PILOTS program for the EU MEDIA Program focused on developing long-running TV.
Friedmann has served on Emmy and Grierson Juries and as a Senior Advisor to the London Screenwriters’ Festival.
