Julien is a junior agent at GHA, having joined from 42 Management & Productions where he worked for 2 and a half years as a literary assistant supporting filmmakers & writers such as Baran Bo Odar & Jantje Friese (Dark), Krysty Wilson-Cairns (1917), Tom Harper ( Peaky Blinders Movie) and Lynne Ramsay (We Need To Talk About Kevin) among others.
Before transitioning into talent management, Julien ran a music video production company, producing pop and indie music videos for major labels, including Universal Music, Sony, Polydor, and Dirty Hit. He holds a master’s degree from The London Film School and has previously served as a judge at the BAFTA and Oscar-qualifying In The Palace Film Festival and Fréjus Film Festival.
What Julien is looking for:
I’m always excited to read scripts that challenge conventions and take creative risks. While I’m genre-agnostic, I’m particularly drawn to writers with a distinctive voice – someone who can deliver the sharp, absurdist dark comedy of a Martin McDonagh, the elevated psychological horror of a Rose Glass, or the mind-bending sci-fi of an Alex Garland. My focus is commercially driven, and I’m keen to leverage my network to get feature scripts made that can benefit from the UK’s recent tax rebate, particularly within the £2 million–£15 million budget range.
