Kate Cook is the co-founder of Bristol-based Indefinite Films, recently selected as one of Channel 4’s emerging indies and PACT’s Future 30.
Her impressive producing credits span thought-provoking content across multiple formats, including the multi-award winning BBC musical drama “Glasgow Girls” and the political thriller “Julius Caesar.” Her first feature film, “Leave to Remain,” a coming-of-age drama about teenage asylum seekers starring Toby Jones, was released theatrically in 2014.
Recent successes include “Murder in the Car Park,” “The Interrogation of Tony Martin” starring Steve Pemberton, and “The Cure” for Channel 4. A participant in Creative England’s Female Founders program, Cook also helped establish Bristol Screen Producers to support regional narrative work.
