Kim Hudson is an author and storytelling expert who developed the Virgin’s Promise framework, an alternative to the traditional Hero’s Journey narrative structure. After beginning her career as a field geologist and federal land claims negotiator in the Yukon, she transitioned into writing and storytelling.
Her book ‘The Virgin’s Promise’ explores a feminine narrative archetype, challenging traditional storytelling paradigms and has been translated into Italian and Japanese. Hudson has been a guest speaker at numerous international events, including the Raindance Film Festival, David Lynch Film School, and Romance Writers of Australia.
She has conducted workshops worldwide on storytelling, archetypal structures, and personal growth, drawing from her diverse background in geology, negotiation, and narrative theory.
Based between Whitehorse and Vancouver, she continues to explore and develop archetypal storytelling frameworks while maintaining close connections to her family, including her two daughters and grandchildren from the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations.
