Lucy Linger is a director, writer, producer, and founder of production company Linger Longer Films.
Her debut feature, Offroading, was completed in November 2025 and is currently seeking distribution. Her short films have screened internationally, including her most recent, Faithful, which premiered at WonderCon in LA in 2025 and was picked up to screen on opening night at San Diego Comic-Con. Faithful qualified for Oscar contention after a theatrical run in Santa Monica and is available to stream on STV Player in the UK.
Lucy has had two TV series and one feature film optioned in the US and UK, and her teaser trailer for a TV project has over 390,000 views on YouTube. She also script consults and coaches writers and filmmakers on creating work that can get made.
Her theatre company, Threadbare Theatre, is one of England’s longest-running fringe companies, garnering stellar reviews from The Stage, Time Out, The Independent, and The Metro.
Lucy is looking for emotionally resonant, commercial projects that complement her existing slate of romantic comedies and YA. She’s therefore particularly keen to hear thriller, action and straight comedy (non-romcom) pitches with a strong hook, compelling character arcs and a clear audience. She’s drawn to stories that have something meaningful to say about the human condition – films that tackle real issues, champion under-heard voices and tell stories we haven’t seen before. Please note she is not seeking horror at this time.
