Mary Jane is a London-based creative who moves fluidly between acting, writing, and jazz singing. Her acting credits include roles in the award-winning feature film Mile End (available on Amazon Prime) and the short film Junior, which won the Colchester 60 Hour Film Challenge. As a screenwriter, she has completed two feature scripts, with For the Love of Leo, developed from her short film Leo?, reaching semi-finalist status in Stage 32’s Romantic Comedy Competition and placing in the Top 30 of FilmMarket Hub’s 2022 Feature Film Screenwriting Contest. When not performing on screen, Mary Jane can be found on London’s jazz circuit, singing at venues such as Toulouse Lautrec, Fontaines, and Browns with her ensemble, the Mary Jane Swingtet.
