In the past 5 years, Matthew has worked on over 15 feature films, He is currently overseeing Eyes In The Trees, starring Anthony Hopkins and Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Executive Producer. He was Executive Producer on Sci-fi feature T.I.M. starring Georgina Campbell a Capture Co-Production, which reached No. 1 on the Netflix film charts, and on Daddy’s Head, a Psychological Horror for Shudder / AMC / IFC Midnight. He is currently co-producing the official documentary on the life of Nelson Mandela, co-directed by Mandela’s grandson, Kweku Mandela.
Matthew produced and directed the BFI-funded feature documentary The Man from Mo’Wax, which world premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival and was showcased at over 40 international film festivals, including IDFA, Melbourne IFF, and the BFI London Film Festival, before being theatrically released nationwide across the UK via Trafalgar Releasing, Acquired by Sky Arts, and the Soundtrack was released with Universal Music / Island Records. Through Capture, Matthew has produced branded content and commercial content for International household brands including Jaguar, Stella McCartney, what3words, Issey Miyake, Robbie Williams, Adidas, Nike, Picturehouse Cinemas, Jamesons, Sky, Riot Games, and Louis Vuitton Matthew has produced several award-winning live-action shorts, most notably Killing Thyme, which won the audience award at the Austin Film Festival and starred Brian Cox (Succession, X-Men).
He has won Best Comedy – First Prize at the Rhode Island Film Festival for Gin & Dry. His shorts have been distributed by Shorts International and have been officially selected at over one hundred film festivals. Matthew has received funding from Film London and the BFI as well as raising private finance.
