Producer & Script Development Executive
May Gibson is a Producer and Script Development Exec who has worked on the development and production of many television drama, comedy and children’s programmes for the UK and the US. She is the Development Exec at Pukka Features, part of Pukka Films, working with director Paul Katis on their slate of feature film and tv projects. Previously, she has held roles as Head of Development at LocomoTV, where she worked alongside legendary comedy writers Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran; UK Drama Development Exec at Talkback Thames; and Development Producer at BBC Drama.
Some of her recent production credits include The Winter King, and We Hunt Together. Other credits: The Musketeers, Waking the Dead and Silent Witness, Preston Front for the BBC; A.D. for NBC; Wolfblood, Living It and Microsoap for CBBC; and the BAFTA-nominated indie film, Kajaki.
May also works with new writers as a mentor and script editor on various screenwriting schemes. Something that she enjoys immensely.
