Michael Arndt is an Academy Award-winning screenwriter whose debut screenplay “Little Miss Sunshine” (2006) earned him an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.
He wrote “Toy Story 3” (2010), which received an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay, and shares screenplay credits for major films including “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” (2013), “Oblivion” (2013), and “Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens” (2015).
Before his screenwriting career, Arndt worked as Matthew Broderick’s assistant and wrote screenplays while working as a script reader. He lives in New York City.
