Pat Higgins is a British filmmaker dubbed the ‘Essex Auteur’ by Empire magazine and ‘one of the masters of horror’ by The Dark Side.
His latest film, “Powertool Cheerleaders vs the Boyband of the Screeching Dead,” became Kickstarter’s most popular film project worldwide during its campaign and premiered at FrightFest’s closing night at the Prince Charles Cinema in 2022.
With over fifteen years of experience lecturing in screenwriting and filmmaking at universities, Higgins is also a sought-after speaker at international film festivals and TEDx events. He is currently developing “Chainsaw Fairytale,” a comedic horror-fantasy utilizing XReality techniques, scheduled for production in 2025. Beyond his credited works, Higgins works as an uncredited script doctor.
