Paula Milne is an award-winning British screenwriter with a celebrated career spanning iconic TV dramas and films in the UK and Hollywood.
Paula Milne is a multi award winning screenwriter who started on CORONATION STREET and created the iconic series ANGELS . In what she calls her “coal-face work to learn the craft’ she contributed to Z CARS, JULIET BRAVO `and SHOESTRING among other popular series.. She went on to write PLAYS FOR TODAY and SCREEN TWO dramas for the BBC as well as movies in the UK and Hollywood including THE HOLLOW REED and I DREAMED OF AFRICA.
The BFI recently featured her in a retrospective to celebrate her work. Among her most notable being DIE KINDER, THE POLITICIANS’ WIFE, THE VIRGIN QUEEN, ENDGAME, WHITE HEAT and SECOND SIGHT.
She also adapted PLATFORM 7 for ITV who recently commissioned a pilot for her newly created series KILLING TIME about a criminal psychologist whose father murdered her mother.
She’s currently writing TRESPASS, a pilot for a 6-part thriller serial about the corrosive effect of grief on a family.
