Cranks (as Rebecca Crankshaw likes to be known) has been working as an actor and voice artist for the past 17 years, working extensively across the London independent theatre sector and being nominated for two OffWestEnd awards: Best Lead Performance in a Play (2023) and Best Solo Performance (2022). She also understudied Lesley Sharp in Kae Tempest’s Paradise at the National in 2021.

She was awarded a Norman Beaton Fellowship by the BBC in 2021 and will be performing a Work in Progress of her first one woman show – Happiness is a Radical Act – on Easter Sunday.
