Rebecca Wojciechowski is a British television writer with extensive experience across many of the UK’s leading drama series. She began her career in script and story research before becoming a full-time writer, and has gone on to make significant contributions to long-running dramas, primetime series and original projects in development.
Rebecca was selected for the BBC Writers’ Academy in 2009, an industry training programme that enabled new writers to work across all of the BBC’s continuing drama series.
She became a core writer on EastEnders and Casualty, and her work on Holby City earned her a Writers’ Guild Award for Best Long Running TV Series.
Rebecca’s television writing credits span a range of genres, from continuing dramas to mysteries and thrillers. Her screen credits include episodes of Holby City (2010–2021), Casualty (2010–2021), EastEnders (2009–2020), Silent Witness (2023), The Cuckoo (2024), and The Teacher (2024).
She has written on the first series of Father Brown for BBC One daytime and penned an episode of Death in Paradise for Red Planet Pictures / BBC One, showcasing her ability to craft engaging stories within established, character-driven formats.
In addition to her scriptwriting for existing series, Rebecca is actively developing original series projects.
