Scott Myers is an accomplished screenwriter with over 30 credits at major Hollywood studios and networks. His screenwriting credits include films like K-9, Alaska, and Trojan War. Since 2008, he has hosted GoIntoTheStory.com, the official screenwriting blog of the Black List, which has been named the Best Scriptwriting Website by Writer’s Digest.
Myers is the author of the best-selling book The Protagonist’s Journey: An Introduction to Character-Driven Screenwriting and Storytelling. He is currently an Associate Professor of screenwriting at the DePaul University film school. In addition to his academic work, Myers has led seminars and writing workshops in numerous countries around the world.
