After studying under the guidance of Euroscript co-founder Paul Gallagher at Birkbeck College, Gabriella began her screenwriting career creating short film scripts and prose for independent artists and directors, whilst pursuing her own feature projects. In 2010 she co-produced Hooray for Hollywood, an adaptation of a theatre production about child pornography, and since this time has been dedicated to telling difficult stories in original ways from personal perspectives.

In 2010 she also co-founded the Underwire Festival with Gemma Mitchell, which aims to change the industry from the inside out by promoting female filmmaking talent across all the technical disciplines.  Now in its 7th year the BAFTA accredited festival will run from 30th November – 4th December at the Art House Crouch End, Genesis Cinema, Barbican and BFI showcasing the best of UK based female filmmakers in short and feature films.

Several short films she has written have played at internationally recognised festivals, and she is currently collaborating on a major biopic feature project, as well as an adaptation for Twelve Chairs Films.

She is a Module Leader in Screenwriting at Central Film School London, and delivers lectures in Screenwriting at Kingston University.

As a Director of Euroscript she regularly works as a Script Consultant and organises the monthly Development Workshops which offer writers an opportunity for peer-reviewed feedback facilitated by a Euroscript Director.
