Martin started his writing career in 1999 with PC Zone magazine. Within a few years he had become one of Europe’s most widely published games journalists and critics, with his extensive credits including The Guardian, The Guinness Book of Records: Gamer’s Edition, Eurogamer, IGN and SFX.

In 2005 he began his career as a video game scriptwriter, working as lead writer on BAFTA winning simulation The Movies. Martin has since become one of the most active and versatile scriptwriters and narrative designers within the industry, with his writing credits including blockbuster action adventure Fable: The Journey, groundbreaking Xbox 360 Kinect project Milo & Kate, and award winning hits such as Black & White 2, Pure and Anomaly: Warzone Earth.

As well as his video game writing accomplishments, Martin has been a multi-time Hollywood screenwriting contest finalist/semi-finalist with his screenplay TX in prestigious Hollywood screenwriting competitions such as Screenplay Festival,, Extreme Screenwriting Contest, Page International Screenwriting Awards, StoryPros International Screenplay Contest and All Access Screenwriting Competition.

In his capacity as managing director of he has provided consultancy advice on over 100 products to many of the world’s leading video game companies, including Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, Sega, Codemasters, Atari, Activision Blizzard, Eidos and THQ.
