with Charlie Brooker
Charlie Brooker is one of the most diverse screenwriters working in the UK, and it seems EVERYONE loves his unique voice that cuts through, whether it’s the darkly surreal Black Mirror, gag led Touch Of Cloth or the caustic satire of his Screen Wipe.
So how do you work in different writing disciplines and yet keep your own unique voice as Charlie clearly has done?
In this session, Charlie will be talking a great deal about the Black Mirror feature length sequel (starring John Hamm) that will show this Christmas (as he is shooting right now), as well as his entire body of work.
We will focus on the challenges of day to day writing, getting from page to production, then steering the vision through filming and editing and finally the ever present fear of never being hired again!
If you need inspiration from a writer whose work is a great example of why Great Britain is so great, then this session is not to be missed.
