Once the poor relation to the ballsy big bucks of the big screen and the sexy silver dollar of TV, screenwriters are increasingly turning to radio as a possible outlet for their creative energies. All they find is a path already well-trodden by household names having used the medium to trial ideas, pilot scripts and most successfully, new comedy formats.  So why doesn’t everyone do it?
