A whirlwind five days presenting London Screenwriters’ Festival, immersed to the chin in the waters of all things screen story thanks to Chris Jones and his league of incredible team members (Lisa, Amy, Judith, I’m looking at you!) and radiant volunteers.
A distillation of my learnings:
1. Speaking and presenting about inclusive storytelling floats my
2. Storymakers will make story, payment or not, audience or not, politically thwarted or not. In short, When one can’t not write, one writes.
3. We can only meet our story at the depth we have gone ourselves. It’s my mantra but saw evidence over and again in the shining faces during all the presentations.
4. Heart ♥️ resonance is the only portal to the story; to embodiment of it (our thick skulled noggins always get in the way!)
5. Writers are pontoons for each other 
places to land, rest, and connect.
6. LSF participants, you are everything.
7. London in spring 
Oh, “how do I love thee? Let me count the ways.”
Australia bound now. Brimming with all I can now share with Aussie screenwriters and of course, also with women in leadership.
