A message I received from Ian Martin about the LSF…
After the Basic Instinct session I approached Joe Eszterhas like the massive fanboy that I am and told him I found the jokes he said about the Hungarian people funny as I work with quite a few Hungarians and I said a phrase I hear them say a lot is “Lusta fasz”. He had to think for a couple of seconds then burst out laughing. He turned to me and said “lazy fuck”. I asked him if he would sign my Basic Instinct script and he said “Ian right”? Then he wrote a personal message on my script that said “to Ian, don’t be a “Lusta fasz” Joe Eszterhas. He then said, “don’t let the bastards grind you down”. I was serious in awe right then. Thanks again for a great festival. See you next time.
