Looking for: Ideal projects – both feature films and returnable TV series are good. Preferably projects that are suitable for co-production, whether that’s within the UK (e.g. I’m a Welsh producer and have a set-up there), Europe (France, Germany, Italy preferred), or further afield in the USA and Japan. Definite preference for commercial genre (horror, fantasy, sci-fi, thriller) with defined targetable audiences.
Zack joined Pistachio Pictures in 2017 as the Producer’s Assistant and is now a highly experienced Associate Producer while coordinating the company’s production and development slates, working across a diverse collection of film and television projects. He joined BAFTA Connect in 2022 as a member of the first cohort.
Recent projects include: ‘Tokyo Vice’ Seasons 1 & 2 for HBO Max and Fifth Season; Luca Guadagnino’s ‘Queer’; Joe Wright’s ‘M, Son of the Century’; Angelina Jolie’s ‘Without Blood’; Terence Malick’s ‘The Way of the Wind’; Bad Robot and HBO’s ‘Demimonde’; and the HETV series ‘Cursed’ and ‘Sense8’ on Netflix.
Prior to joining Pistachio, he cut his teeth working as a development and production assistant with Fox Searchlight Pictures in LA before returning to the UK where joined he Icon Film Distribution as an office assistant while juggling freelance production work. He then spent 2 years working for Pinewood Studios Group and Pinewood Pictures where he was involved in the development, financing, production, and distribution of independent feature films and high-end television projects.
